While some members of America’s Congress call for the resignation of U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu over the failed loan to Solyndra, the embattled head of the nation’s loan program pointed directly at the level of subsidies provided to Chinese solar panel manufacturers as the reason America needs to support a clean energy race.
